Abortion is a deliberate step that involves terminating a pregnancy. so that it doesn't result in the birth of a child. Some women terminate pregnancy because they were sexually abuse or had unprotected sexual intercourse that resulted into pregnancy. While some might feel happy and joyful to be pregnant, others may abort because they are not financially stable, they feel they are too young to be mothers, or their dreams will be destroyed once they become mothers. There are two types of abortion treatment.

Public relation practitioners can use their position to campaign against abortion and make people aware about the possible side  effects of  abortion.. In doing so it will reduce the rate of abortion.

Public relation practitioners  can utilize  social media platform with the  campaign #stopabortion to support women who might feel like they are alone in the world and abortion is the answer. Public relation practitioners can also use their position to make people aware about the complications associated with abortion. Because it can be difficult for women who experience complications during abortion to have a child of their own in the future.

PUBLIC RELATIONS CHALLENGES FOR #ABORTION CAMPAIGN

The challenges facing public relation practitioners. Not everyone uses social media, public relation campaign on how harmful abortion can be cannot reach majority of the people who lives in rural areas. It will be difficult for  Public relation campaign to get to the people who lives in the rural side to know about the medical advice needed after having abortion.

Finance can be a challenge to public relation practitioners, because they need money for their expenses. If they don’t have sponsors for the campaign, it will be difficult for them to achieve their goals and objective.

STRATEGIC USE OF SOCIAL MEDIA FOR #ABORTION CAMPAIGN

It is important for Public relation practitioners to know their target audience, they should set up a programme. #stopabortion will help give advice, provide support, educate and try to mend relationships for people in need who are considering abortion.

I will recommend this programme should be advertise on various social media platform to inform the public or the target audience. Abortion is not a good thing, because if care is not taking it can destroy lives. I will also recommend public relation practitioners to use their position to make sure their messages or campaign gets to the people who live in the rural area that does not have access to the internet.

      Yes you are right and that is why they are doing the campaign. the only challenge is how to send messages across to people who lives in the rural communities where there is no internet.

    Taking someone's life is wrong and that life begins at conception therefore it wrong to abort but if the pregnancy is putting the mother's life and health to danger she has every moral right to abort it since she also has a right to life.

    We are all given a choice, a choice to life and also a choice to make conscious decisions when it comes to sexual engagements. More awareness is need on the root cause , the importance of family planning to avoid unplanned and unwanted pregnancies
